I do see what some people are saying about the expansion problem (Factions, NF). I do love my rit primary, but I loathe my dervish. To me, Dervishes are the worst thing that was EVER introduced to the game and the only thing that comes close to that would be assassins. But, I'm not about to start a flame war. (Probably too late though...-.-)

For the love of god, ursan blessing needs to be removed. Not sure about pve only skills, I rarely use them. What they do need to add though that would be a little off topic is variety in armors for certain classes.

not sure what else to add really.. lol

Remove:
Skill Balance
loot scaleing
supply and demand pricing

Keep the rest

Add:
Merge PvP and PvE, by adding a new element.
High level bosses, players would now be required to kill bosses and other players at the same time, while still trying to complete a objective. Also add varous monster spawns which would attack all players and elemental effects to add as disruption. Players would be eliminated if they DP out, first team to complete objectives or last surviver, which ever team wins round.

Also for HA would add random builds, team enters and the computer picks a random balanced build that they must play with and corordinate with there team. New system would test a players knowledge of skills, coordination, and teamwork. Also would eliminate gimmick builds.

Welcome to Factions. Where the original Guild Wars was effectively presented as an open-ended world, Factions was aimed to modify player behavior from the get-go. The signs are all obvious: rushed character advancement, short campaign length, faction point accumulation, emphasis of "persistent warfare" PvP as "high-end content," title grind. If we're talking about "being pushed," we've all been there and done that. How many of us have quit over this, as opposed to how many of us would quit if this was removed, is not a question any of us want explored.

I group with people I know, friends, guild members etc. But I do not and will not group with random players. There are just far to many negatives to grouping with people I dont know, enough to make me not purchase games where playing with AI or solo isnt an option.
Ah, but how did you meet those friends and guild members? At some point, you met some of them in a PuG, and you liked the experience enough to keep in contact with the people. The process of trial and error fosters the creation of new relationships in an online world, and that is infinitely more beneficial to the game company than the creation of AI to support the "solo" player. When the "solo" player gets bored, the game goes on the shelf; when the "team" player gets bored, he gets sucked back into the game by helping the friends he's made. But without the need to team up with random people, the friends wouldn't be there in the first place, and player community would be fragmented even worse than it is now.

That said, I believe you're missing my most important point: I don't care about your opinion. As per OP, this thread is about what each of us would do to our Guild Wars if we could mod it. You're as entitled to your own mods as you are to your own opinion, and nothing is "forcing" you to play mine

No, never met anyone in a PuG, there is more than 1 way to find people....

Friends who play the game.
PvP

Never through a PuG.

Of course, I was mearly picking at your opinion and just asking if you realised the change you suggested wouldnt produce the outcome you seemed to desire.

I would keep all camps maybe do some balancing. This is mostly for EoTN.I would add heros to Prophecies and Factions

I would remove
Hero requirement in Nightfall Missions
-Elder Rhea's audio
-Danika's audio
-Titles
-Books

Well don't think about your answers or anything...but:

If you removed heroes, the entire storyline for nightfall/EoTN would be ruined.
Some people like NF, some people like EOTN, some people like factions, and others don't. However, they're all good games, and should all stay.
Heroes are GOOD- nothing wrong with them.

Inscriptions...should go.
We should go back to the old favor system.
Reputation titles/etc. should be less grindbased and should be possible to earn by the time the game is fully completed. FULLY (as in you should be made to do sidequests).

KEEP PvE only skills- these are a good idea.

No more Dervishes!
However, the rest of the professions are fine. Whichever person said to remove necromancers is weird.......

Keep the system whereby elite stuff is purely for show and the level caps at 20.

I hate it when a game has 99 levels and epic loot, unless it's a singleplayer game.

I say, keep everyone equal!

Keep

Combat System (8 skills, over 100 skills per class, attributes for each profession - ex: death magic, smiting prayers, low max energy health/high energy regen - compared to other games, no hp/mana pots)
Reachable lvl cap
Titles

Remove
Heroes/Henchmen
Rits, Assassins, Dervs, Paragons (merge with other classes, like rits or just healing necros, dervs are just wammos with a scythe)
Titles for pve only skills
Whiners who want pve skills to be separate from pvp skills

I don't know why you guys hate titles so much. If you dont wanna get them and see no point, then don't. You gain nothing from getting drunkard title, so leave it for those who want to gain it. The pve only skill titles are annoying though. Grinding those titles is is boring. As long as anet keeps a similar combat system, i'll be fine though.
